The second indumat GmbH conference on November 23, 2023 on important materials science topics under the title "Exploration of Medical Technology - Failures, Materials and Processes - Synergies for Excellence" was very well attended with over 30 participants from medical technology and other sectors.
Well-known speakers from industry and research imparted new and interesting insights and experiences in material and process innovations. Potential damage cases were clearly illustrated using practical examples of damage from the areas of corrosion, heat treatment, laser marking and joining technology. The cleaning, testing and inspection of medical products was also an interesting focus topic.
The Tuttlingen town hall, and thus also the world center of medical technology, was the optimal environment for the highly specialized conference.
