Even in its 75th anniversary year, FAULHABER continues to drive improvements in customer service. Dr. Fritz Faulhaber GmbH will integrate its subsidiary PDT Präzisionsdrehteile GmbH from Nürtingen on April 1, 2022, welcoming 34 new skilled workers to its Schönaich location. Thanks to this strategically planned move, FAULHABER can respond more quickly to individual customer requests with its own turning center and expand its expertise in machining.
PDT had been a subsidiary of FAULHABER since 2014, producing turned parts for the drive systems of the renowned specialist in miniature and micro drive technology. "The integration is part of our growth strategy to further expand our own delivery capabilities and increase added value for our customers," explains Karl Faulhaber, Managing Director at FAULHABER. "We now have our own high-performance turning center in-house," Faulhaber adds. "This allows us to implement customer-specific adaptations more quickly and in greater variety, shorten delivery times for our customers, and optimally complement the synchronization of our production sites."
The relocation of the CNC machine park to Schönaich is already complete. The new specialists are delighted to now be part of the renowned FAULHABER company and are working in three shifts at the new location. "We are pleased to welcome our new colleagues and wish them a successful start in Schönaich," said Faulhaber. "This allows us to strategically expand our expertise in this area, and our customers will also benefit – with an even broader range of customized, complete drive solutions."
