The extremely high dynamics of large disc magnet stepper motors are often dependent on a closed control loop in order to achieve the highest possible performance while at the same time limiting the power output in the motor. The IE3 encoder is a high quality magnetic encoder that can be combined with a large number of FAULHABER products from a diameter of 22mm. The encoder is now also available with the DM40110R , DM52100N and DM52100R series.
With an extended length of around 13mm, this new combination option offers a high positioning resolution of up to 1024 pulses per revolution, as well as extremely fast acceleration capabilities in a compact and lightweight design! The encoder is connected with a ribbon cable, suitable connectors are available.
