The BXT motor family, consisting of brushless DC motors with an exceptionally compact design, has been expanded to include the diameter-matched magnetic encoder IEF3-4096. With an additional length of only 6.2 mm, the motor/encoder units remain extremely short. Furthermore, the encoder is fully integrated into the robust motor housing.
In this low-profile design, the IEF3-4096 offers three channels with indexing and a high resolution of up to 4096 pulses per revolution. A variant with a line driver, the IEF3-4096 L, is also available. The encoder can be combined with the enclosed BXT motors 2214…BXT H, 3216…BXT H, and 4221…BXT H.
The combination of BXT motors with the IEF3-4096 encoder is the ideal solution when precise positioning is required in confined spaces while simultaneously demanding high torque. Typical applications include robotics, medical technology, laboratory automation, and industrial automation. The encoder connects via a ribbon cable; suitable connectors are available.
