The Laser P 400 U Series from GF allow the creation of various surface properties in combination with marking/labelling avoiding manual labour like masking and cleaning. Most flexible laser sources grant a multitude of applications on most different materials, from ceramics to plastics and metal. The so called lasertexturing offers the possibility to combine medical surfaces with design.

Osteointegrative surfaces

• No issues with coatings: Adhesion / Adhesion testing. Procedure very accurate in geometry
• No issues with handling, process and waste management compared to etching
• No issues with contamination compared to 3D printing

"Matted" surfaces

• No variations through grit degradation
• No maintenance effort: Filters, cleaning, impurities etc.
• No health issues: silicosis
• No grit sticking in parts surface
• No issues with threads and deep holes

Anti bacterial surfaces

• Special surface structures prevent from bacterial colonisation

Hydrophobic surfaces

• Prevent from blood incrustations, thus prolonging the steril life

Anti counterfeit

• An invisible code allows the quick detection if the product is OEM or fake with an app or a special light

In contrast to todays standard, these processes are 100% digital, therefore traceable.

The surface treatment can be performed at the very end of the product process.
