Artificial intelligence (AI) is considered a transformative technology that offers undeniable added value and is already being used in various industries in a variety of ways, often unnoticed by the user. In medical technology, too, AI will be indispensable in the future.

Artificial intelligence can be explained something like this: It is the ability of a machine to make decisions and perform tasks that simulate human intelligence and human behavior. The methods are based on the underlying algorithm, e.g. on deep learning using neural networks. These are networks of artificial neurons modeled after the human brain and specialized in recognizing patterns in data. Training such a neural network with training data leads to a modification similar to human learning patterns and an AI model is created without the usual line-by-line programming of an algorithm

For medical devices and applications for medical device manufacturers, AI is used e.g. B. with machine learning and neural networks to mimic human skills. We would like to introduce you to some of these applications and best practices.

Participation is free of charge. Please still book a ticket to register. The access data for the Zoom meeting will be sent to you by email. Therefore, please ensure that you enter your e-mail address correctly.
