Zen = for the better
As this translation from Japanese suggests, Kaizen is about continuous change for the better. What is special, however, is that this is an all-encompassing and continuous improvement. Kaizen is more than just a method that can be applied, but also an inner attitude and way of thinking that must be lived by management and employees alike.
