Tuttlingen – The process has turned around completely: Qualified young professionals no longer apply to companies – companies apply to qualified staff. It is all the more important to position yourself correctly in this competition. Therefore, the next personnel symposium for medical technology on February 1st is all about the success factor "employer branding".

"In future, those companies that have a strong employer brand will be in the lead," Andreas Seltmann is convinced. "If they don't have this, potential employees will simply ignore them." The HR marketing expert will hold the keynote speech at the HR symposium and will focus on one question: why, in addition to a passion for products, an even greater passion for people is needed. It shows which top fields of action have a significant influence on a genuine and authentic employer brand and which issues companies really need to address.

"Employer branding" is the first step - "Personal branding" the next: "Your employer brand needs faces" is the credo of Christian Kalou s (INVENDA Experts GmbH). Applicants were not only looking for a new position, but for new managers. In his lecture, Christian Kalous shows the advantages of active managers on social media, how employees can implement them and how this can be integrated into the recruiting process. Best-practice examples are used to show how implementation in medical technology works and what advice is available from practice. Sebastian Buchert (CEO, Bentley InnoMed GmbH) and Jens Mielke (Head of Corporate Marketing, Hekatron Vertriebs GmbH) talk about their experiences with employer branding. A workshop and enough time for discussions and dialogue complete the program.
