The universal torque modules UDM5 are an integrated solution of drive and precise torque measurement for testing, setting and measuring. With the systems, you control angular positions precisely and apply load moments exactly.

Seven sizes are available to the user for the torque range from 1.5 to 200 Nm. The intelligent measurement setup is completely decoupled from the rotational movement of the output shaft and is therefore significantly more resistant to interference, eg from external shaft loads. The result is high measurement accuracy for torque and angle and thus higher product quality. Encoders with absolute position feedback are used for path measurement. This reduces the customer's effort to align his tools using external sensors and reduces commissioning times.

The universal torque modules are supplied as standard with the digital preamplifier PDM-S from PROMESS and the programming software V5. With its modern database structure, the software offers all the options for process documentation. Optional standardized interfaces to QS-STAT and IPM are available for analyzing the data.
