Ein Tag voller Abenteuer und Teamgeist

Two new industrial management trainees, Lena Sensz and Jana Staudenraus, began their training at Stoma / Storz am Mark with a special experience: the traditional 2025 trainee excursion. Together with existing trainees and their trainers, they took the Stoma bus to the island of Reichenau, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in the morning.

There, the group enjoyed an exciting tour of the monastery and treasury, providing interesting insights into the island's history. Did you know that Reichenau has three island holidays of its own—more than any other region in Germany? These holidays date back to the island's history as an important medieval Benedictine abbey and religious center.

The planned outdoor picnic had to be postponed at short notice due to stormy weather. Instead, they enjoyed a communal lunch of burgers and fries at a restaurant, followed by ice cream at an ice cream parlor in Konstanz. In between, getting-to-know-you games like bingo and "Who am I?" provided lots of fun and helped the new trainees quickly become part of the team.

The highlight of the day was the visit to the Konstanz Escape Room. Two teams competed in parallel in the "Da Vinci's Secret" and "Nightmare" rooms. The tasks were challenging: puzzles had to be solved, clues combined, and security mechanisms overcome. Only one team managed to reach the exit within the allotted time; the other room proved particularly challenging.

The trip not only offered plenty of fun and variety, but also strengthened team cohesion and gave the new trainees a fun way to network with colleagues. A thoroughly successful day that everyone involved will remember for a long time.

We wish the new trainees a great training period.
We are once again looking for motivated young people who would like to start their professional future with us, starting their training in September 2026. More information is available at www.stoma.de/karriere
