The testing laboratory for medical products Creamedix GmbH in Weingarten, Baden Württemberg, joins MicroMol GmbH in Karlsruhe and thus also the Tentamus Group.
Dr. Dominik Herzog, Managing Director of Micromol; announced this in Weingarten: “We are delighted with the acquisition of the Creamedix for the MicroMol and the Tentamus Group. Thanks to the excellent expertise of Creamedix in the field of testing medical devices for biocompatibility according to ISO 10993, in particular through the expertise in the field of hemocompatibility, we are expanding the service portfolio for our customers. The close proximity between MicroMol and Creamedix enables us to develop the two companies together into a center of excellence for the testing of medical devices and at the same time to further strengthen the expertise of the Tentamus laboratory network for the pharmaceutical and medical industry. "
About Creamedix
Creamedix, an ISO 17025 accredited bioanalysis laboratory, specializes in testing medical devices and their raw materials for biocompatibility in accordance with ISO 10993, in particular on in-vitro- based analysis systems as an alternative to animal models. The portfolio includes tests of in-vitro genotoxicity, sensitization and skin irritation to testing for hemocompatibility of medical devices.
