A great success after the long pandemic

Around 8,361 visitors came to the trade fair for jobs, training and further education, studies in Villingen-Schwenningen over the weekend.

Good conversations despite the mask

Despite the hygiene regulations due to the corona situation, many visitors sought a conversation at the Wifög and Welcome Center booth. Many job seekers came to the stand with their application documents in a targeted manner in order to look for the right job at our job station, says Wifög managing director Henriette Stanley. Some newcomers found out about the recognition of foreign qualifications, studying, looking for a job and further training or looking for contact with companies.

Visitors accept the pilot function well

The visitors to the Wifög stand were happy to receive direct advice. The advisors from the Economic Development Department and the Welcome Center also accompanied one or the other visitor directly to the other exhibitors at the fair. Some interested parties used the welcome advice and guide function of the Welcome Center. This is how they found the right contact person and the right information for their careers at the trade fair.

The visitors to the stand also benefited from the know-how of a Welcome Center expert from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. She advised interested specialists in particular on sectors such as industry, trade or services or on language courses.

Trade fair discussions with cooperation and network partners are becoming more and more important

In addition to talking to job seekers, exchanges with other exhibitors are becoming increasingly important. “The close contact to our partners is one of the main priorities for Wifög at the fair. We can coordinate this personally and talk about new, joint projects, ”says Stanley. Thanks to the closely linked regional networks, targeted forwarding of inquiries at the trade fair is ideal.
