Sponsors welcome offers from the Welcome Center

After her welcome, she informed the sponsoring members present about personnel changes, restructuring and distribution of tasks after the departure of Cornelia Lüth and Sabine Schneckenburger: Michela Crispo, who has been with the business development department since 2014 and has been the new head of the Welcome Center since February 1st, introduced herself. Henriette Stanley said about the financial situation: “In addition to the support from the sponsoring members, the Welcome Center will continue to be funded by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economics, Labor and Housing as part of the State Program Welcome Center Baden-Württemberg (2019 to 2025). The new funding phase started on January 1st, 2021 and runs until December 31st, 2023. "

Michela Crispo presented the offers of the Welcome Center for companies in the field of recruiting international specialists. New are decentralized advice days in all three districts (also online), advice in companies, event and web series for employers.

The offers of the Welcome Center are also aimed at international specialists, students and trainees. There are also new offers such as online counseling days, a web seminar on “Naturalization in Germany”, exchange formats and seminars (also online) with a focus on “international doctors in rural areas”. Harald Rettenmaier from the AOK - the health insurance company - welcomed this commitment to doctors and nurses.

Sustainable public relations work is also important, emphasized Henriette Stanley: In addition to presenting the Welcome Center in municipalities and districts, at trade fairs and career fairs, via print media, social media, newsletters and podcasts, her team has also developed new possibilities. This includes the presentation of the Welcome Center on open days of the universities of social affairs and industry, decentralized seminars, a Xing profile, a relaunch of the website and a chat boat.

The managing director informed about the offer to present companies in the newsletter and on social media. In addition, she gave an outlook on the coming years with a continuation of the web series Care and web seminars on taxes, social security and intercultural skills.

As a certified funding advisor for SMEs, Henriette Stanley finally pointed out the new option of free initial consultations for companies.
