Acceptance sets
Lightroom Classic CC offers the ability to create collection sets. Unlike a photo album, a collection set consists of one or more images. It helps you organize your photo catalog by creating different folders for each type of photo. These sets can also contain more than one kind of photo, and you can name them as you like. To make a collection set, click the plus-shaped "New Collection" button, and then select "Create Collection Set" from the pop-up menu.
A Collection Set can be created from any folder that contains subfolders. Unlike folders, collection sets retain the folder hierarchy. To create a Collection Set, right-click or Control-click the parent folder, and then click "Create Collection Set." This will create a single collection containing all photos in the parent folder and any subfolders. Once this step is completed, the collections will be saved and easily accessible. You can then organize your collections using the various tools available in Lightroom.
Creating a Collection Set is easy. You can convert a folder with subfolders to a single collection. This will keep the same hierarchy as the original folder. To create a Collection Set, right-click or Control-click on the parent folder. Using the "Create" option, drag the parent folder to the right and click "Create Collection Set." A single collection will be created from all the photos in the subfolders.
Another way to create a collection is to use a smart Collection. Smart Collections are created based on keywords or the type of lens used in the photo. When a new image is added to a Smart Collection, Lightroom automatically adds it to the list. A collection can be subdivided further into collections, Smart collections, and other Collection Sets. It is possible to have multiple Smart Collections inside a single set.
Smart Collections can be created by right-clicking a collection and selecting "Add to Collection" as the target. Once you've selected a smart collection, you can assign a color label to it. You can remove this label by selecting "None" from the list. You can also assign multiple collection sets. This will allow you to use the same set across different modules in Lightroom. Once you've made a collection, you can then create more than one!
If you want to create a Collection Set, you first need to select a collection. This will open a new panel. If the collection is already named, it will automatically appear in the Collections panel. By default, the collections are marked with a filing box icon. To add more collections, simply drag and drop them into a new set. Then, the selected photos will be added to the new set. You can nest as many collections as you need.
