Puncture cannulas

A puncture cannula is a flexible instrument that allows the physician to enter a canal through a body surface. The cannula has a hollow tip or a cut or hole in the tip so that it can be positioned precisely. It is double-sterile with a smooth tip, and comes in a variety of sizes to fit most patients. It is inserted into the body cavity using a needle.

A catheter bush consists of a rubber or plastic tubing that is flexible and can be attached to a connector. A metal cannula extension with securing means engages with corresponding means on the connector. The cannula and its tip are pushed against each other during the puncture. The connector is connected to two grip plates that are secured against the patient's skin. The securing means are usually located on the needle.

The securing means on the connector are attached to the catheter. The cannula is advanced into the body cavity or vessel with a metal needle. After puncturing, the metal needle is withdrawn and the catheter is introduced into the body. Then, the cannula and its connector are removed. The catheter and its securing means are attached to each other, so that they can be pressed against one another during the procedure.

The connectors are connected to a tube. A connector 11 is provided to connect a catheter to a supply or transfer appliance. Preferably, the connector has an interior valve. The valve is opened by a metal tip of the cannula or a Luer connecting cone. When the catheter is removed from the body, it is connected to the connection and securing means of the catheter.

The extension piece is not attached to a support member. It is long enough to engage a tubular continuation 31 of the bush. The slit can be guided by a guide element. The extension piece may be used for different types of procedures. A variety of needles are available. They are adapted for a wide variety of purposes and are available in a variety of sizes. If you're planning a lumbar puncture, it's best to consult a medical professional before purchasing any products.

A Puncture cannula is a flexible tool that provides the surgeon with the tools needed to drill through the body's surface. The cannula helps the surgeon conduct the instruments in the predetermined direction. In arthroscopic surgeries, the cannula is used to guide the needle into the target area. Its length is determined by the type of instrument used. This guide is attached to the tip of the cannula.

The curved tip of the cannula is also available. This type is used for a variety of purposes, but the smallest ones are used for injecting viscous fluids. The curved tip is the most common choice for a puncture cannula. However, it is not always the best choice. There are some important considerations when selecting a cannula. The shape and size of the cannula are important factors for the success of the procedure.
