The question of "dry versus wet extraction" was first addressed normatively with the update of VDA 19.1 in 2015. This took into account the new requirements for non-liquid-resistant air extraction components. Today's requirements are now entering a new dimension with e-mobility and require a renewed look at dry extraction methods.
Here, our managing director, Mr. Volker Burger, gave an interesting and insightful interview and informed us about the reasons for the development and necessity of both testing methods.
