FAULHABER awards supplier award to fewe precision turned parts
Schönaich/Weil am Rhein, May 2021 – On May 18, 2021, fewe Feinstdrehteile GmbH received the Supplier Award from Dr. Fritz Faulhaber GmbH & Co. KG (FAULHABER) in Schönaich, in Weil am Rhein. FAULHABER regularly presents this award to the best of its approximately 600 suppliers. Criteria such as product quality, delivery reliability, technical expertise, accessibility, and collaboration are evaluated.
“fewe Feinstdrehteile GmbH achieved a very positive overall result in our supplier evaluation,” summarized Jochen Hasenmaier, Purchasing Manager at FAULHABER. “We received exclusively positive feedback from the entire purchasing team.” In fact, the successful collaboration dates back many years: The first item for FAULHABER was ordered from fewe Feinstdrehteile on July 15, 1969. Currently, the family-owned company from Schönaich, specializing in miniature and micro drive technology, sources over 160 items from fewe – and this number is increasing.
“What was particularly impressive was how quickly and flexibly fewe Feinstdrehteile was able to respond to our new needs during the Corona crisis,” added Hasenmaier. Whether in ventilation systems, protective equipment for medical personnel, or laboratory automation, FAULHABER components are needed in numerous applications during the Corona pandemic. “How reassuring to know you have suppliers at your side who can keep pace reliably and quickly,” emphasized Hasenmaier.
