"Only through a corresponding product and service portfolio and great flexibility has it been possible to achieve constant growth, despite reforms and changes in health policy," says company founder Nasir Abbas, outlining the company's recipe for success. He is particularly proud that the quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 13485 was recently recertified according to the new MDR specifications. Some of the customer deliveries are made via external service providers (DHL) and drop shipping, leaving more time for advising and instructing doctors and patients. In terms of sales, the company relies not only on the shop but also on mail order and its own online shop with around 5,000 listed items.

Success comes from within
Abbas sees a young, motivated team of 13 employees as “the capital of the company”. He relies on "agile corporate management" because this is the only way to achieve speed, flexibility, dynamism and self-management and achieve success. Most employees have completed their training in the company. Abbas: "These are well-trained medical product consultants with optimal professional training who can react quickly to any challenge."

Abbas Medizintechnik has been a prequalified service provider for the supply of medical aids since 2011. There are supply contracts with almost all health insurance companies. The care areas include barrier-free living, oxygen therapy, bandages, compression stockings, diabetes and modern wound care. The main areas of expertise are medical technology (e.g. ventilation, monitors), rehabilitation technology (e.g. wheelchairs, walkers, care beds, patient lifts) and medical services requiring intensive consultation (e.g. enteral nutrition, tracheo, stoma and incontinence care).
