FAULHABER gives supplier award to fewe precision turned parts
Schönaich/Weil am Rhein, May 2021 – On May 18, 2021, fewe Feinstdrehteile GmbH received the supplier award from Dr. Fritz Faulhaber GmbH & Co. KG (FAULHABER) from Schönaich. FAULHABER regularly awards this honor to the best of its approximately 600 suppliers. Criteria such as product quality, delivery reliability, technical know-how, availability and cooperation are evaluated.
"Fewe Feinstdrehteile GmbH was able to achieve a very positive overall result in our supplier evaluation," summarized Jochen Hasenmaier, Purchasing Manager at FAULHABER. "We have only received positive feedback from the entire purchasing team." In fact, the good cooperation goes back many years: the first article for FAULHABER was created at fewe Feinstdrehteile on July 15, 1969. The family business from Schönaich, which specializes in miniature and micro drive technology, currently purchases over 160 articles from fewe - and the trend is rising.
"It was particularly impressive how quickly and flexibly fewe precision turned parts were able to react to our new needs during the Corona crisis," added Hasenmaier. Whether in ventilation systems, in protective equipment for medical staff or in laboratory automation, FAULHABER components are required in numerous applications during the corona pandemic. "It's good when you have suppliers at your side who can go along with you quickly and reliably," stressed Hasenmaier.
Doris Reinacher and Detlef Weller, Managing Directors of fewe Feinstdrehteile, thanked them for the award and stated with regard to the future partnership: "We are very happy about the surprising recognition and look forward to continuing the good cooperation in the tried and tested way. This is a strong motivation for the entire fewe team!” The supplier award was presented at a small celebration on the company premises.

Customers include leading companies from the world of measurement and control technology, automation and medical technology, consumer electronics and the automotive supply industry.
