Centrifuge SIEVA 3

The new unique filter centrifuge SIEVA-3 is the further development of our centrifuge SIEVA-2.

The liquid can be poured into the centrifugal drum during the run through an opening in the lid. The solid matter remains in the centrifugal drum, and the liquid can drain through an opening on the right-hand side. The viewing window in the device cover is made of safety glass and enables visual monitoring of the centrifugation.

The SIEVA-3 is very versatile and suitable for various applications. The entire housing is made of stainless steel and is therefore also resistant to highly corrosive agents.

The functional principle of this centrifuge is cake filtration, in which the pressure force required for filtration is generated in the centrifugal field.

The inside of the perforated rotor is lined with a filter fabric. Due to the continuous inflow of the suspension, a filter cake builds up in the rotor, while the clarified liquid runs off through the rotor casing or the basket rim.

The Sieva-3 filtration centrifuge is mainly used for batch-wise separation of relatively coarse particles or crystalline substances.
