Thanks to our new app dicomPACS®DX-R remote control, the X-ray process becomes even more controllable.
Many functions for creating X-ray images are now also available on smart devices such as mobile phones or tablets. Attached to the wrist or simply to the portable X-ray unit, the user has immediate feedback on the image quality without having to return to the base station (Leonardo X-ray case) every time, for example. This results in a much faster and more flexible workflow.
For example, the images can be checked directly on the horse and repeated if necessary. With this special remote control, examinations can be rescheduled on demand as well as the readiness of the detector to take pictures can be checked. In addition, photos can be taken with the smartphone or tablet during the examination and included in the examination.
The app is available for iOS and Android and is supported from dicomPACS®DX-R version 8.0.
