The BAYHA scalpel

The BAYHA scalpel is characterized by maximum safety in handling, very high sharpness of the blades and excellent quality "Made in Germany". Thanks to the locking system, the blade can be inserted into and removed from the scalpel handle almost safely without touching the cutting edge. No blade remover is required to remove the blade.

The shape of the blade holder and the quick-release system of the bolt ensure that the blade sits securely in the handle and guarantee a safe and precise cut. The BAYHA scalpel allows high forces to be transferred to the cutting edge. This means that solid materials can also be cut.

Another advantage of the BAYHA system is the uniform blade holder. All BAYHA scalpel blades fit in every BAYHA scalpel holder. As a result, fewer handles have to be procured and there is no loss of time during work due to mixing up the handles.

The Bayha scalpel system is used in many areas. With sterile Bayha scalpel blades mainly in surgery, veterinary medicine and in the laboratory. As an industrial scalpel or precision knife, our non-sterile scalpel blades are used in a wide variety of technical and craft areas. In the hobby and model making sector, they are often used as a craft scalpel or craft knife. These are also used in pathology and at universities for medical training in the preparation course.

Starter sets / scalpel set
The quality of the BAYHA scalpel speaks for itself. That is why C. Bruno Bayha GmbH offers all those interested a variety of starter sets with non-sterile blades. The scalpel sets consist of a scalpel handle No. 1, No. 4 or No. 6 as well as two different blade shapes with 12 blades each, which can be freely selected. The scalpel sets are supplemented with our protective cap and thus offer the opportunity to convince yourself of the quality and function of our products.

Our comprehensive quality management system regulates all processes from production to complaints.

The system complies with the EN ISO 13485: 2016 standard and the European medical device legislation 93/42 / EEC.

In particular, checking the product quality is an indispensable part of our quality measures. Our BAYHA scalpels are checked several times from the incoming goods to the final acceptance. After their completion, they go through a 100% inspection. We use all deviations and feedback from our customers to improve our manufacturing processes and product quality.
