Green initiatives at DIALUNOX

Environmental sustainability is fundamental to the survival of our planet and ourselves. Many companies have recognized its importance and have implemented various strategies to reduce their environmental impact and become greener.

DIALUNOX is also active in this area. The company quickly recognized the need for a clear roadmap connecting business strategies with green initiatives. We assembled a group of people – the DLX Green Team – who developed and prioritized various actions to integrate sustainability into all areas of our business.

Below are some examples of actions DIAUNOX has taken to improve its environmental footprint:

E-mobility: Every DIALUNOX employee can take part in a leasing program where they can order company-owned e-bikes or normal bicycles - the most environmentally friendly and quietest means of transport. With this program, the company not only motivates its employees to use more sustainable mobility, but also promotes their health through more fun and more exercise.

The drivers of e-cars also have an advantage. There are (currently still) three charging stations on the company premises, which DIALUNOX employees can use free of charge. This generous offer has motivated some employees to replace their own car and switch to this emission-free way of commuting.

Green electricity: Our electricity generation portfolio consists of the photovoltaic system installed on the roof of our company building and the green electricity that we obtain from the municipal utility. We plan to further expand solar systems and generate 100% renewable electricity in 2023. Investing in an on-site solar system is not only a prestige project, but also utilizes unused space and ensures a cost-efficient electricity supply.

Employee commitment: DIALUNOX promotes a culture of sustainability at all levels and encourages its employees to support local environmental initiatives.

This summer, the DIALUNOX team took part in the city cycling competition and achieved an impressive 6th place (out of 22), thus making its contribution to reducing CO2.

Inspired by the World Clean-up Day that took place in September this year, 12 DIALUNOX employees decided to roll up their sleeves and tackle the global garbage problem at a local level. Equipped with garbage tongs, garbage bags and buckets, they set off in three teams and collected garbage in the different districts of Stockach. Within three hours they collected 16 garbage bags with plastic, paper, glass and residual waste.

Small steps are important! It is up to each and every one of us to contribute to a more sustainable world.
