Medtec Product Qualification
The two high-performance coolants, METACOOL SQ-M 301 and METACON SQ-M 610, have been tested by GBA Medical Device Services GmbH and are classified as non-cytotoxic (<30% growth inhibition) according to DIN EN ISO 10993-5/-12. They have already been successfully applied in various manufacturing processes.
METACOOL SQ-M 301 is a mineral oil-based, water-miscible coolant with an ester component. Its boron-free technology ensures optimal manufacturing results for demanding machining of aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium.
METACON SQ-M 610, with its broad range of applications, is suitable for machining alloyed steels as well as all non-ferrous and light metals, offering high cutting performance and excellent surface quality. Additionally, this medium can be used as a forming and stamping oil for chipless metalworking in various applications.
