content

Due to the increasing digitization of all areas of the company, production in particular, together with IT, is facing major challenges due to topics such as the Internet of Things (IoT), cyber-physical systems and Industry 4.0. Production managers have to deal with topics such as cyber security and digital networking in production (OT). IT managers are increasingly confronted with production availability and data integrity of networked production or laboratories as well as cyber-secure remote access. Small and medium-sized companies in particular are therefore faced with the major task of defining the "right" steps and measures in the context of complexity and existing know-how.

In the four-hour seminar, concrete measures for a cyber-secure and highly available production network are shown. The focus is on the network structure and the standard-compliant integration of established IT systems and processes in the OT. The aim of these measures is to enable cyber-secure, economical operation of systems and their remote access. Options for action are discussed together using concrete case studies.
