Benchtop plating units and systems
Via our own equipment service centre, we offer an extensive and custom-designed programme of surface engineering equipment that is both robust and long-lasting. Due to easy and reliable handling Heimerle + Meule’s
products meet the demands of producers of medical instruments as well as laboratories.
Benchtop plating units are mainly used for plating oneoff parts and small batches. They are suitable for depositing
gold as identification markings on hard metal instruments. They are so easy to operate that even newcomers to
electroplating can work with them.
While the small plating units Type PGG 10 flex 1.5 litres and 3.0 litres are generally used to plate small one-off parts, the systems Type PGG 30, Type PGG 30/S4 and PGG 50/S4 are suitable for processing larger one-off
items and small batches.
Warm Air Drying Centrifuge HT II
With the Warm Air Drying Centrifuge HT II, water-wet goods made of metals, glass or plastic can be stainlessly
dried quickly and efficiently. For highly polished parts, special nylon inserts are available.
Water reconditioning system KRW 5
The combination device with an ion exchange bottle is suitable for cleaning circulating water. The circulating water being cleaned flows by free fall into a raw water collecting basin. From this basin, the water is pumped back into the runningwater rinsing units via an ion exchange column with mixed bed resins. A magnetically coupled centrifugal pump is used here. The quality of the water can be read off on an analogue conductivity meter at the top of the ion exchange bottle. The KWA 5 also features a particle filter and a UV unit. The UV unit quickly and effectively reduces
harmful germs and eliminates cloudy rinsing water caused by algae or bacteria. The combination device offers an additional space for an ion exchange bottle, which can be used to produce demineralised water.
