The aim of the seminar is to teach the participants the basics for setting up emergency and crisis management in the company and to prepare them for practical implementation. The seminar teaches theory and practice on crisis management.

The laws and standards on which the obligation to organize emergency and crisis management is based are discussed. The definitions of risk, emergency and crisis are developed and delimited. What an emergency and crisis team takes care of and what duties the members have is highlighted. Best practice on the roles and tasks in the emergency and crisis team is conveyed, the importance of stakeholder management is highlighted and awareness-raising, updates, training and exercises for emergency and crisis management are presented. The basics of crisis communication and tools are also taught.

All theoretical basics are imparted in a practical manner through implementation in case studies.
