The 360 degree directional hearing system developed by Merz Medizintechnik GmbH enables, in particular, the diagnosis of asynchronously supplied patents and serves to control bilateral balancing in the area of CI follow-up care.
Using the ring-shaped ceiling installation of 12 height-adjustable boxes, measurement results in a full circle with an angular resolution of 30 degrees are achieved during the free field investigations. Each of the 12 boxes is individually addressed and calibrated using the evidENT3 software and the audioboX free field amplifier .
