Karlsruhe: We are pleased to present our new company name
MicroMol GmbH announces that it will change its name to TentaMedix GmbH on November 11, 2019. TentaMedix will continue the tradition of MicroMol and continue to offer high quality and accredited or certified services in the context of biological safety assessment in the areas of medical devices, pharmaceuticals and biologically active substances in general.
Dr. Dominik Herzog (Managing Director): “The change of the company name reflects the further development of the company in the last two years and here in particular the expansion of the services in the field of safety assessment of medical products and pharmaceuticals. We felt that it was time to reflect the progress and developments of the last year with a new company name ”.
“In April of the current year we successfully passed the re-accreditation within the framework of ISO 17015: 2018. In addition, we had a successful GMP audit in July. We expanded our services in the field of in-vitro biocompatibility testing of medical devices with the acquisition of our subsidiary Creamedix in July. In the GMP area, we were able to expand the services for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry through the highly specialized bacteriophage analysis in our microbiology and through the determination of amino acids in our bioanalysis ”adds TenataMedix authorized representative Dr. Wolfgang Rudy.
Of course, TentaMedix GmbH is still GMP certified and accredited according to ISO 17025. All projects and services are carried out strictly according to internationally accepted protocols and guidelines. In the interest of our customers and general sustainability, TentaMedix focuses primarily on cell-based in-vitro models and thus makes a contribution to reducing animal experiments as part of product-specific safety testing.
