The Tentamus Center for Food Fraud or TCF² for short is pleased about the new cooperation partner Chelab from Hanover. The TCF² deals with all issues relating to the topic of food authenticity. Chelab GmbH was recently included in the Tentamus Group and is expanding its portfolio to include a full range of products and methods in the field of fruit and vegetable juices.
At Chelab GmbH, different fruit juices can be compared with the help of NMR with regard to their authenticity against an in-house database. The SGF Profiling ™ (Juice Screener) is also available as well as the determination of the position-specific hydrogen-deuterium isotope ratio.
In addition, there are other devices for questions from the area of authenticity, such as isotope mass spectrometry coupled to both an elemental analyzer and a gas chromatograph. The equipment park is rounded off by various mass spectrometers coupled with gas and liquid chromatography for the analysis of residues, such as pesticides or the chirospecific aroma analysis.

Arne Dübecke is also pleased about the inclusion of Chelab GmbH in the Tentamus Group, because “Matrix juice was not previously shown in the TCF² portfolio. Thanks to the cooperation with Chelab GmbH, it is now possible for the TCF² to also offer comprehensive analysis for the matrix of fruit and vegetable juices with regard to questions of authenticity. "
