add'n solutions has the option of getting workpieces clean with various methods, processes and cleaners. There are two different pre-cleaning methods available. Depending on the type of contamination, the products can be pre-cleaned with acid or alkali. After the pre-cleaning process and any subsequent laser marking, the workpieces are finally cleaned. This process takes place in our fully automatic, validated cleaning and passivation system. We have designed and tested our cleaning in accordance with ASTM A380 / A380M. We check these values regularly so that we get optimal cleaning results for different workpieces. The various cleaning and rinsing chambers (with and without ultrasound) completely remove larger deposits of dirt such as polishing and abrasive residues, fine deposits as well as grease and oil residues. Furthermore, for example, smoke residues are removed from the surface by the laser. After the cleaning, passivating and rinsing processes, the instruments are dried in a circulating air dryer. This validated procedure promises an optimal cleaning result for your products. Our procedure is validated and we regularly monitor the cleaning results through various tests in accredited laboratories. Some of these tests are also available on our download portal.
