Especially manufacturers of medical devices located in Austria can benefit from the close cooperation between GS1 Austria and atrify. From now on, they have the possibility to register their products quickly and efficiently with the atrify UDI Solution in EUDAMED, the European Database for Medical Devices. The complete use of EUDAMED will not be mandatory until 2023, but it has already been shown that early testing and registration is indispensable. On average, companies lack 60% of the information needed for successful registration in their internal systems.
