The regulation is expected to enter into force in July 2023.

The consultation itself is very thorough, looking at a number of options for many aspects of the law, and has no less than 17 chapters and 83 sections with multiple questions by section.

atrify has been collaborating for many years with the MHRA as with other Regulators across the world, and will contribute to this consultation. This is a great opportunity to share with the MHRA both our own experience and the input of our customer community. Therefore we recommend that you contact us and share the points you would like us to take into consideration within our submission. Our objective is to be aligned with your own expectations and help us grow the healthcare community by providing recommendations and solutions that will enable a smooth implementation of the future UK UDI regulation. This in turn will greatly support patient safety, which is of paramount importance for all of us.
