Schmid Medizintechnik GmbH was founded in 1890 in Tuttlingen as Schneider Chirurgie-Mechanik GmbH.

Our decades of experience, traditional craftsmanship and state-of-the-art production technologies guarantee high quality standards at competitive prices.

Our quality management is certified according to DIN EN ISO 13485. We use only the best materials and manufacture exclusively at the Tuttlingen site.

Since 2006 we operate under Schmid Medizintechnik GmbH.

Schmid Medizintechnik GmbH has a quality management system based on the regulations of DIN EN ISO and DIN EN ISO 13485, which was last updated in July 2014.

Through the ongoing training of our employees, regular audits and constant process validation, we maintain our high quality standards.

The regular intermediate inspection after the individual production steps and an elaborate final inspection at which the strictest standards are applied and the most modern methods and measuring equipment are used round off our high quality standards.
