Current septoplasty techniques require fixation with sutures and splinting in the narrow nasal passages. Removing them can be painful for the patient.
The ENTACT septum stapler is a solution that uses an ergonomic single-use clip system to place absorbable implants and make sutures superfluous. The surgeon can typically achieve fixation in less than a minute. Overall, the use of the ENTACT stacker reduces the time in the OR, possible damage to the surrounding tissue is minimized and surgeons can achieve more uniform results. 1
