Welcome Center invites you to network

Hochrhein-Bodensee, Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg. Medical staff wanted: The aging society and the fact that some doctors are migrating from southern Germany to Switzerland are exacerbating the situation. In an online networking meeting on October 14, employers, multipliers and educational institutions can exchange ideas on possible solutions. Experts provide support in workshops on the topics of recruiting, recognition and preparatory courses for the license to practice medicine for foreign doctors. The Welcome Center Social Economy and the Welcome Center Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg & Hochrhein-Bodensee invite you.

How do I recruit foreign doctors?

Silke von Carlsburg, employment broker of the International Personnel Service Baden-Württemberg, will moderate a workshop on how clinics and employers can recruit doctors from third countries.

“What is necessary so that doctors from third countries are recognized and allowed to work here?” This question is the focus of the workshop led by Johanna Mordhorst and Michaela Eberle from the recognition and qualification advisory service at AWO Stuttgart.

A third round will deal with whether and how a preparatory course for licensing foreign doctors can be offered here in the region. Ulla-Britt Voigt, head of the regional office for professional development in Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg would like to bring clinics, training providers and others into discussion.

The event is free of charge and will take place on Wednesday, October 14, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. online via Zoom.
