Peltier technology - only better!
These advantages are made possible by what is known as Peltier technology. This is not new, but BINDER has implemented it even better than comparable products: Despite its more efficient energy management, the KB ECO is powerful as usual and, in contrast to compressor devices, no refrigerant is used at all - the device is also particularly quiet.
Like all refrigerated incubators from BINDER, the KB ECO creates constant conditions in the microbiological laboratory and is also suitable for many other applications in industry, such as battery development in the context of the current ubiquitous e-mobility. Every BINDER cooled incubator enables safe and reproducible incubation, even at high ambient temperatures. Together with the efficient weekly program function, the refrigerated incubators from BINDER are real all-round talents when working with microorganisms in the laboratory.
This is what the KB ECO offers
The electrical temperature control of the KB ECO using a Peltier module with innovative heat dissipation covers a temperature range from 0 °C to +70 °C (max. 26 °C below ambient temperature). The inner chamber of the KB ECO, which is completely made of stainless steel, is supplemented by two stainless steel insert grilles and offers a Ø 30 mm feedthrough with silicone plugs as standard.
The smart device also uses our proven APT.line™ preheating chamber technology. The conditioned air is supplied horizontally from both sides via evenly distributed openings, thus guaranteeing optimum temperature control. That means: Even when fully loaded, temperature homogeneity is guaranteed.
The LCD display offers the user a complete overview of the temperature as well as additional information and alarms. The internal data logger also makes it possible to read measured values in an open format via USB.
