The construction project is going well

After the groundbreaking ceremony took place last October (competence factory II groundbreaking ceremony), the construction project of COMPETENCE FACTORY II is making good progress: According to Thomas Luippold, Plant Manager of COMPETENCE FACTORY, "even better than planned - we are about a week further than planned .”

So far no delays or other problems have occurred. That speaks for both planning and implementation of the 6 million euro project. The existing building will also be built: In total, not only a 2500 m² production area, but also four offices for approx. ten people and two meeting rooms are to be built on two floors.

Unless something unforeseen happens - and this is not to be expected given the smooth process so far - everything should be in place by the end of October 2022. The first machine moves to the 12 meter high building are planned for the first quarter of 2023. Particularly impressive: Everything works on the basis of renewable energy! With an output of 570 kWp, the largest PV system in the Tuttlingen district is planned for the roof of the COMPETENCE FACTORY.

Once again, BINDER is not only a pioneer, but also sustainable at all levels: investment, planning and implementation on the one hand, and in terms of resources and energy on the other.
