Practical loading and unloading: with the duo-door function

The BINDER CO 2 incubators are particularly popular among employees in cell culture laboratories. Product manager Dr. Jens Thielmann, who himself worked in laboratories for many years, even goes so far as to say that “BINDER manufactures the world's best CO 2 incubators”. For example, they are characterized by an almost perfect anti-contamination concept, not least because they do not have an interior fan. If you want, you can even use the new humidity control - all of this means that the CO 2 incubators are extremely easy and clean to work with. Because in a laboratory there is nothing worse than having to dispose of important cell cultures after contamination.

The duo-door function is also clever. This option is particularly useful if a laboratory technician wants to fully load or unload a CO 2 cabinet, for example. And he does it just like that: He opens the cabinet and the protective glass door, but does not lock it when it is closed, and the glass door docks magnetically to the outer door. In this way, the next time the door is opened, the user can bring cell culture vessels and other samples into the cabinet without having to open the second door. The cabinet can be filled completely and without detours. The gas tightness is of course ensured, simply by closing the outer door. However, if the user wants to protect the atmosphere in his closet - after all, moisture, heat and CO 2 are quickly lost when the door is completely opened - then it is better not to activate the duo-door function. Depending on what is currently in demand, the researcher has all the options here with BINDER.
