"Baden-Württemberg can be proud of this industry"

Tuttlingen/Rottweil – Baden-Württemberg's Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann supports the vision process for medical technology and has assumed patronage for the year-end event at the "Talks about the future" on December 9th in the Rottweil power plant. "Baden-Württemberg can be proud of this industry and that should be visible to the outside world," says Kretschmann. Tickets are available now for the future talks.

The medical technology industry is one of the central economic pillars of the future in Baden-Württemberg. But it is still strongly overshadowed by the automotive industry and thus remains under the radar of society. To change that, MedicalMountains GmbH initiated the vision process for medical technology. Much to the delight of Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann, who did not hesitate to offer his support. Kretschmann has taken over the patronage for the evening event "Talks about the future" on December 9th, at which the first results from the ongoing vision process will be presented.

"Safe and high-quality medical products from Baden-Württemberg help improve the quality of life and save lives," says Kretschmann. He advocates that the industry and thus also the companies behind it experience the appreciation they deserve. They wanted nothing more than to have their role in society recognized: "After all, it is their products that ensure quality of life into old age, cure diseases and save lives." In the vision process for medical technology, a vision for the industry for the next ten to fifteen years is jointly developed. In addition to presenting the results of the vision process, futurologist Dr. Jörg Wallner take the participants on a journey through the megatrends to the vision in the talks about the future. There will then be an interactive panel discussion before the get-together begins.

Participation in the “talks about the future” is free of charge; Tickets are available at this link .
