If one term could encompass the entire program, then "know-how" would be appropriate, thinks Tamara Becker. At MedicalMountains GmbH she is responsible for training and further education in medical technology. Know-how means “on the one hand, knowing and mastering the respective requirements in the life cycle of a medical device. On the other hand, to develop a comprehensive understanding of procedures and processes.” Creating the connection between knowledge and application is crucial in the planning – and for the participating companies a reliable added value to master the challenges of today and prepare for the future.
Means for the year 2023: Most seminars remain unchanged, some have been revised in terms of content and more than a dozen are new. There is also a premiere for the certificate courses: For the first time, participants can qualify as “International Approval Managers”. "Not only in Europe are the approval procedures becoming more and more complex, but almost worldwide," points out MedicalMountains Managing Director Julia Steckeler. "It is all the more important to internalize the basic concepts and working methods of regulation and to deepen them in important sales markets." Former participants in the certification course for Regulatory Affairs Managers also received further input here. In addition to the area "International Approvals", "Quality Management and Regulatory Affairs", "Legal Requirements", "New Technologies and Procedures" and "Cleanliness of Medical Devices" form the thematic majority of the MedicalMountains training courses. "All of these points boil down to being able to market innovative, safe and efficient medical devices," says Julia Steckeler. But it can also be worth taking a look at the thematic blocks "Management and Marketing" or "Process Optimization and AI" in order to keep up with the dynamics.
Not only in terms of content, but also with the events themselves, MedicalMountains GmbH remains up to date. Hybrid or online participation is standard, although on-site presence is also important. "We orientate ourselves on which format transports the content best," says Tamara Becker. I
