Further training 2022: New program sets the tone

Tuttlingen - In order to cover the diverse needs of medical technology, MedicalMountains GmbH has expanded its further training program for 2022 to be even more target group-specific - a total of around 200 events, consisting of certificate courses and individual seminars, are booked. A good third of these are new or in a revised form on offer.

The total of 14 certificate courses starting next year will be expanded primarily with target group-specific compact courses. New additions include the compact courses “IVDR – From the basics to implementation” and “Conformity assessment for class Ir medical devices”. Next in the program and intended exclusively as an aid for smaller companies is the compact course "MDR - Toolbox for Lean Implementation".

“It is particularly important to us to give companies a boost with our offer. Especially when implementing regulatory requirements, there are always questions that need to be clarified," says MedicalMountain's Managing Director Julia Steckeler, "that's why we want to provide needs-based tools that really help in everyday practice to meet challenges pragmatically, competently and safe to tackle.”

In addition to the classic certificate courses for quality managers or regulatory affairs managers, the 2022 program also includes other new topics. The demands on the industry are constantly evolving dynamically, so that a knowledge update can make a significant contribution to the success of the company - for example through the certificate course for "Product Manager Medical Technology". The “life” of a medical device is as diverse as the competence requirements for the product manager themselves.

A lot has also happened with the approximately 180 individual seminars - the range of offers in the areas of management and marketing in particular has been expanded. “Offering tailor-made training courses that take into account the differences between the companies is what motivates us. We are therefore continuously adapting the training program to current needs,” says Melanie Gebel, who is responsible for planning and organizing training at MedicalMountains GmbH. “But there are not only thematic adjustments. Our event formats have also changed as a result of the corona pandemic. As organizers, we are more flexible than ever," explains Melanie Gebel, "because although face-to-face events are allowed and popular again, we also have participants who continue to prefer online training. The majority of the individual seminars and certificate courses will therefore take place in hybrid form in the coming year - this is the supreme discipline among the event formats. "Since the quality of the content transfer is always the top priority, certain events will take place purely online or purely in attendance.

The "New Normal" is also reflected in the content of the further training offer. Before the pandemic, customer meetings were mostly face-to-face, but now they mostly take place as online meetings. The new seminar "Successfully Conducting Customer Discussions Online" shows how customer trust and loyalty can be built under these conditions. Another challenge for many companies: to continue to manage their employees well, even if only a small part is in the company's offices. The new seminar “Management from afar: Dealing with the home office age”, for example, provides assistance here.
