Learning curve is steep

Tuttlingen - Five days peppered with practical know-how: The compact course "The pragmatic implementation of the EU-MDR for micro-enterprises" offered for the first time can be considered a success, as can be seen from the feedback. The fact that the course was held online did not prove to be a disadvantage.

Even if the dialogue via microphone and camera cannot replace direct personal contact, an almost familial togetherness developed. "Such an atmosphere of trust is helpful and was particularly important to us with the compact course," says Melanie Gebel, who is responsible for further training at MedicalMountains GmbH. The online format was particularly advantageous for the participants from Bavaria, North Rhine-Westphalia and Schleswig-Holstein, who otherwise might not have been able to attend in person.

Speaker Karl-Heinz Fischer hit the right note and conveyed the appropriate content that helps smaller medical technology companies over the EU-MDR hurdle - starting with the basic requirements, through conformity assessment and technical documentation to post-market surveillance. "The implementation of the EU-MDR in all its complexity can no longer be managed by small companies alone," says Christian Seitz (Savuna GmbH), for example, "the support of MedicalMountains GmbH is ideally suited in this environment." Boris Bühler (Bühlerinstrumente GmbH) takes a similar view: The compact course was “extremely instructive”, “Questions were answered very well and my expectations were fully met”. Or in short: “The learning curve has gone up steeply.”
