Tuttlingen – The 14th edition will take place on October 20th: The Innovation Forum Medical Technology once again combines the tried and tested with the new. While Open Stages and Guides Tours are almost part of the “inventory” of the event, this year there is a “playground” for virtual reality for the first time.

Exhibitor
The 14th Innovation Forum Medical Technology can set a new record: 81 exhibiting companies and institutions are taking part - more than ever before.

lectures
The concept of three parallel sessions will be retained. A total of 43 lectures are on the program in the main hall, in the conference hall and in the Innocamp. Among other things, it is about virtual and augmented reality, digital tools, innovative materials and surfaces, cobots, AI, additive manufacturing and innovative manufacturing processes.

sustainability
A whole block of lectures and one of the keynotes is again dedicated to resource protection and sustainability. Topics such as circular economy, sustainable materials and eIFUs show ways and possibilities for medical technology.

Open stage
The Open Stage is located in the small exhibitor hall. The lectures there are first about the cleanliness of medical products, then the student research center in Tuttlingen is at the start again: the projects presented take up sustainability aspects.

“Playground” for virtual and augmented reality
What is discussed in the lectures can be experienced here in real life: Studio 39 contains the “playing style” for virtual and augmented reality. The participants can immerse themselves in new digital worlds and try out applications for themselves.

Guided tours
At 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. there will be guided tours through the exhibition accompanying the forum. Equipped with a silent sound system, i.e. microphone and headphones, the tour participants get to know some of the exciting companies and institutions. There are still spots available on both dates. Melanie Gebel accepts registrations at gebel@medicalmountains.de.

warm up
The pre-evening event on 19 October is all about Switzerland. During the warm-up for registered forum participants, current technological developments will be discussed and then chatted over wine and finger food. A separate registration is required, which Melanie Gebel accepts at gebel@medicalmountains.de.

networks
In order to maintain existing contacts and make new ones, a lot of time is again planned in the program: for example at the business breakfast, in the breaks and at the get-together at the end. Registered visitors can make appointments in advance via the B2Match platform.

The full program, further information and the option to register can be found at this link.
