Successful restart for the on-site format

Tuttlingen – The on-site events at MedicalMountains GmbH started again last week with three seminars on the subject of “Purity of medical products”. With the 3G rule and hygiene measures, it was possible to create an atmosphere that was as safe as it was pleasant.

"It was a special experience to be able to welcome participants back in person after such a long break," says Melanie Gebel, who is responsible for further training at MedicalMountains GmbH. In compliance with the 3G rule - the participants were vaccinated, recovered or tested - as well as the hygiene measures in the vocational training centers in Tuttlingen, the seminars ran smoothly - and to the satisfaction of participants and speakers. “The feedback is consistently positive. Everyone understands that the guidelines are currently in place and at the same time glad that on-site events are taking place again at all.”

What happens now? "We weigh up which format is best on a case-by-case basis: on site, hybrid or purely online," says Melanie Gebel, describing the planning. “For example, a workshop with a lot of direct interaction only makes sense if you are present. A participant who connects via the Internet would by no means have the same benefit.” Many seminars, on the other hand, can be easily presented in hybrid form – with participants directly in the rooms as well as outside at the monitors. A purely online format is also used if the topic and content allow for it, says Melanie Gebel. Thanks to these opportunities, MedicalMountains GmbH is now much more broadly positioned than it was a year ago. "We have evolved and that will benefit the participants, even if the pandemic should no longer be an issue."

Whether a seminar, course or MedTalk takes place online and/or on site is noted in the calendar under "Venue".
