In recent years, Vietnam has developed into an important Asian business location, which enables Oerlikon Balzers to serve many markets with its high-quality coatings. The new coating center in Hanoi will mainly focus on the cutting and forming tools business areas, but also on the growing market for high-tech components for cell phones, electronics and semiconductors, as well as for plastic and aluminum products for consumer goods.
Due to the high demand in the entire Southeast Asian region, Oerlikon Balzers set up an agency in Hanoi in 2017, which has since supported local customers in various areas of application from the Thai customer center. The expansion and expansion was actively supported by the Balzers locations in India and Thailand, even in the difficult year 2020. From the new customer center in Vietnam, Oerlikon Balzers can now support customers on site even more actively with better service, short delivery times and short distances for an improved ecological footprint.
