At the end of December 2021, AutoRevista presented the "Premios Dirigente del Año", the awards for the best companies of the year, at a ceremony in Madrid. At this year's ceremony, the magazine stressed the importance of the automotive sector working more collaboratively and closely together than ever to overcome the adverse circumstances that the Spanish automotive industry is currently suffering. Oerlikon Balzers was awarded the prize for technological innovation (Premio AutoRevista a la Innovación Tecnológica).
