Tuttlingen – Childcare is being offered at the Innovation Forum Medical Technology for the first time. A professional takes care of three to eleven-year-olds throughout the day - so that the parents can relax and take time for the lectures, exhibition and discussions in the Tuttlingen town hall.

The four mothers in the MedicalMountains GmbH team know the challenge of reconciling business and private appointments. "We have been enabling a high degree of flexibility for a long time, so that neither side is neglected," reports MedicalMountains Managing Director Yvonne Glienke. The organization was literally born with the ability to combine family and work. The oldest MedicalMountains scion is twelve years old, the youngest three. Nonetheless, external factors repeatedly show limitations. Yvonne Glienke's twins are in good hands in kindergarten, but there are gaps here too. As soon as the care time ends, she or her husband must be at home. Thanks to the home office, there is much more leeway than a few years ago, but there are still cuts - with many things that cannot be represented digitally. "Sometimes I get an invitation that makes me think: Wow, you have to go there," says Yvonne Glienke. Then the calendar is looked at and it is not uncommon for the event to be canceled because no suitable solution can be found for the youngsters. This is where the Innovation Forum Medical Technology comes in. "Participation should not fail because of the question of who takes care of the children," says Yvonne Glienke.

All day long, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., three to eleven year olds are welcome in a separate area of the town hall. "We informed ourselves well in advance and hired an experienced specialist," Yvonne Glienke is aware of the responsibility. "The care will be just as professional as the rest of the forum." : Visit lectures, get to know the accompanying exhibition, get into conversation with other participants. In any case, the managing director is curious to see what the demand will be like. "It's a trial balloon and a beacon at the same time," she says, "an offer to families and at the same time a reflection of the togetherness that we live at MedicalMountains."

Childcare is included in the ticket price, so there are no additional costs. However, for better planning and preparation, a separate registration of the children is required, which Yvonne Glienke will receive by e-mail to glienke@medicalmountains.de by September 22nd. Required information is the age and the probable period in which the care offer is to be used.
