Identify synergies, leverage potential, shape progress. The Innovation Forum Medical Technology moves in this triad. Once again, the industry event in the Tuttlingen town hall offers ideal conditions for gaining valuable knowledge as well as the right partners to tackle future-oriented projects. A building block for this has already been fixed: all exhibitor areas have been allocated. More than 70 companies and institutions present their products and services. The exhibition accompanying the forum reflects a number of the focus topics of the day. They cover, among other things, “Artificial Intelligence”, “Virtual & Augmented Reality” and “Smart Systems”, as well as “Robotics” and “Innovative Production Processes”. “Materials and Substances”, “Surface Technologies and Coatings”, “Cleaning of Medical Devices” also have a permanent place – and for two years now “Sustainability” with regard to production, processes and packaging. The keynotes will be held by Prof. Dr. medical Miriam Rüsseler (Head of the Institute for Medical Education and Clinical Simulation at the University Hospital in Frankfurt) and Prof. Dr. medical Dirk Wilhelm (senior physician in the clinic and polyclinic for surgery at the Klinikum Rechts der Isar, TU Munich).
