EpiFIX™ Growth-Control-Plate - Sterile single-use kit for growth control
A significant number of children experience pain in bent legs, varus or valgus deformities, or difficulty walking.
With the help of the minimally invasive technique, the EpiFIX™ growth guide plate can be used as a growth regulator through growth retardation at the epiphysis.
EpiFIX™ Growth Control Plates are available in both a curved design for use on the femur and a stepped design for use on the tibia. The application of the EpiFIX™ Growth Control Plate allows the physician to redirect the long bone growth angle and gradually correct angular deformity in pediatric patients with open physis.
EpiFIX™ is the only system to offer anatomically graded tibial growth control plates.
